高校第二学士学位将不再招生

On July 26, the Ministry of Education issued a paper to standardize the granting of bachelor's degree, improve the management system of bachelor's degree and improve the quality of bachelor's degree granting. The Academic Degree Committee of the State Council promulgated the Measures for the Administration of Accreditation and Granting of Bachelor's Degree. The Measures stipulate that, from this month, the degree-granting units in China will no longer recruit second-degree students. The relevant colleges and universities may set up bachelor's degree of minor, double-bachelor's degree and joint bachelor's degree.
7月26日，教育部发文，为规范学士学位授权授予工作，健全学士学位管理制度，提高学士学位授予质量，国务院学位委员会发布《学士学位授权与授予管理办法》。办法规定，从本月起，我国学位授予单位不再招收第二学士学位生，相关高校院所可设置辅修学士学位、双学士学位、联合学士学位。
Second Bachelor's Degree: The name of the degree level. The criteria for awarding the second bachelor's degree are as follows: having completed the undergraduate course of a certain specialty in one subject category, granting graduation and obtaining the bachelor's degree in that subject category, and then pursuing a certain undergraduate specialty in another subject category (according to the needs of the state, also allowing the choice of another undergraduate specialty in the same subject category), and completing teaching. The second bachelor's degree may be awarded to those who have passed the requirements stipulated in the academic plan and are permitted to graduate. The duration of a second bachelor's degree is usually two years.
第二学士学位：学位等级的名称。第二学士学位的授予标准是：已修完一个学科门类中某专业的本科课程，准予毕业并获得该学科门类的学士学位，再攻读另一个学科门类中的某本科专业（根据国家需要，也允许选择同一学科门类中的另一本科专业），完成教学计划规定的各项要求，成绩合格，准予毕业者，可授予第二学士学位。第二学士学位的修业年限，一般为二年。

国务院学位委员会办公室负责人表示，第二学士学位是在改革开放初期，针对我国研究生教育非常薄弱等情况提出的一种应急性人才培养渠道。而当前研究生教育蓬勃发展，对于第二学士学位，已基本完成了弥补研究生教育不足的使命。
